Amidst the many sexual abuse and assault allegations against Sean Diddy Combs, an alleged victim has stepped up to share his account. The man, who went by the alias John Doe, opened up for the first time about the abuse and how the traumatic incident affected his life.
In an interview with CNN, the accuser, who remains anonymous, recalled that the incident occurred nearly two decades ago at one of Combs’ renowned White Parties in East Hampton, New York. Doe originally filed a civil complaint on October 14, claiming he was ‘drugged and sexually assaulted‘ by the musician in 2007. He alleged that the experience left him ’emotionally scarred’, stating, “It affects every single thing you do for the rest of your life.”
The accuser, who worked for a private security firm at the time, alleged in his lawsuit that Combs offered him two drinks which he believes were spiked with GHB and ecstasy. After consuming the drinks, the man recalled feeling “extremely ill” and incapacitated, making him vulnerable to the assault.
He then went on to claim that Combs held him down and proceeded to sodomize him despite his protest and pleas. “I wasn’t able to stand,” he said and added, “It was just an amazing level of incapacitation that I had never experienced before and I felt powerless.”
Interestingly, the alleged victim also added that a high-profile celebrity witnessed the alleged assault, and “found it amusing,” he said, declining to name the individual.
Doe reported the incident to his supervisor at the time but said that his complaint was dismissed. He also claimed that he was blacklisted shortly after and that it forced him to change his field of work.
In his lawsuit, the alleged victim seeks compensatory and punitive damages, citing years of emotional pain and mental health struggles.
The CNN report also points out discrepancies in the man’s statement. While Doe’s initial complaint stated the assault occurred in 2006 at a White Party in St. Tropez, while his recent interview placed the incident in 2007 in the Hamptons. His attorneys have since filed an amended complaint correcting the timeline and other details, acknowledging errors in the original filing.
Combs’ legal team responded to the allegations, accusing Doe’s attorney of fabricating claims. In a statement to CNN, they argued, “After Buzbee was exposed this week for pressuring clients to bring bogus cases against Mr. Combs, and after public records showed that — contrary to his allegations —there was no white party in the Hamptons in 2006, Buzbee amended this complaint to walk back the allegations and now claim a different day and wholly different year,” Combs’ attorneys wrote in their statement.”
Diddy is currently in federal custody awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The music mogul is also facing approximately 30 civil lawsuits alleging various forms of misconduct.
