‘Pushpa 2’ worldwide box office collection day 32: The Allu Arjun starrer stands at Rs 1770 crores, on its way to beat ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Dangal’

‘Pushpa 2’ has completed more than a month at the box office now. The film has already become the highest grossing Indian film at the domestic box office. But as far as the worldwide gross collection of the movie is concerned, ‘Pushpa 2’ now stands at the third spot. It is at number 3, behind ‘Dangal‘ and ‘Baahubali 2’.
The worldwide gross collection of Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ was Rs 2070 crore. Meanwhile, the collection of ‘Baahubali 2’ worldwide is Rs 1790 crore. After day 32, the total box office collection worldwide of ‘Pushpa 2’ is Rs 1770.03 crore now, after adding the Sunday number which is around Rs 7 crore. Thus, it can be expected that the film will cross the number of ‘Baahubali 2’ soon worldwide. It has already beaten the record of the Prabhas starrer in India as it stands at Rs 1200 crore and the collection of ‘Baahubali 2’ in India was Rs 1030 crore.
Once it beats ‘Baahubali 2’ even worldwide, the only record which is left to break will be that of the worldwidegross of ‘Dangal’. That does look a bit far at the moment, but one never knows! Moreover, these numbers of ‘Dangal’ and ‘Baahubali 2’ were in the pre-pandemic era, and no other Indian movie has been able to even come this close in the post-pandemic era.
Meanwhile, at the domestic box office, the Hindi version of the movie has done much better than even the Telugu version of the film which is an unthinkable feat.
