The Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ faced a significant drop in its box office collections on its second Monday, earning under Rs 1 crore.
After a promising start, the film saw its first major dip in collections, according to a box office report on sacnilk.com. The film, directed by Sharan Sharma, began its run at the ticket windows with a strong opening week, garnering an estimated Rs 24.45 crore.
The second week kicked off with a weekend collection of Rs 5.45 crore, bringing the 10-day total to approximately Rs 30 crore. However, the latest collections on Monday have only added an estimated Rs 90 lakh according to early estimates, bringing its nett total to Rs 30.80 crore nett.

Globally, ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ has fared better, with its total earnings rising to an estimated Rs 36.95 crore.
The film is expected to face stiff competition from upcoming releases. The newly released Will Smith starrer ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die‘ is already making waves, and the animated film ‘Inside Out 2‘ which is set to hit theatres on Friday, June 14 is expected to draw in the masses. The film, a sequel to the Oscar-winning ‘Inside Out’, will have a wide release in the country, including a Hindi dubbed version, which could further impact ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’s box office performance.
