Jessell Taank talks about her love for India, meeting Salman Khan, and upcoming crossover with ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ | Hindi Movie News

Reality TV star Jessell Taank of ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ recently stopped by Mumbai where she exclaimed that the whole city appears so alive.
According to the Hindustan Times, Taank said that she loved the country. “It’s exciting, and it’s imploding with energy, both economically and culturally,” she added.
Jessel has visited India before for wedding shopping but it’s been a while and she seriously wanted to know more about the country.
She is especially looking forward to experiencing the fashion scene in Mumbai, as she had already had meetings with the local designers on her visit and promised to help take their creations to the US.
Taank also revealed that she hopes to be able to bring her husband and kids to India someday to spend more time so that they could also get drenched in the country’s rich culture.
She is determined to come back home much before Diwali next year, so that she does not miss more celebrations. This Diwali, she got stuck in Mumbai and never got the chance to celebrate it with family and friends.
One of the best experiences that Taank had while she was in Mumbai was meeting a few Bollywood stars, which included Mouni Roy, Arjun Rampal, and Bhumi Pednekar. She was especially starstruck after she met with Salman Khan.
Speaking about the memory, Taank said she was in awe years back when she met him at the Leela hotel and described herself as a “fan girl” who couldn’t resist asking for a photo with him.
Along with having a high regard for Bollywood, she also confessed to watching ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives,’ a reality show that mirrors the vibe of ‘New York Housewives.’ She feels curious about the lives of these women; many of them have been connected to the Bollywood industry, allowing a very interesting glimpse into the personal lives of these celebrity ladies.
Taank teased that something is cooking between ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ and ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ and wouldn’t tell what the something is at this time. Taank admitted that viewers come to watch “drama and gossip,” but what draws viewers is the show’s authenticity. According to her, people connect with reality shows because they watch real people outside of actors just acting instead of authentic people.
