‘Game Changer’, featuring global star Ram Charan and phenomenally talented actress Kiara Advani, gained love and popularity within two days of its release. The film hit the big screens on January 10, 2025.
While the movie is enjoying setting and breaking records at the box office, fans can’t wait to know the deets regarding Game Changer’s OTT release; and here’s what we know. Back in March 2024, Amazon Prime Video officially announced that the film will also have an OTT release.
They posted the announcement on X, captioning ‘An honest IAS officer battles political corruption through fair elections to change the game of governance. #GameChanger available post-theatrical release.’ The dates of the release have not been announced yet, but it is rumoured to be eight weeks after theatrical release. According to Pinkvilla, the television broadcasting rights are with Zee Studios.

The political thriller, which has an ETimes rating of 3 / 5, is about an upright IAS officer committed to eradicating corruption while ensuring fair elections. The film highlights the contrast between his modern-day actions and his father’s historical struggle.

The cast of the film includes Ram Charan in dual roles as H. Ram Nandan – the IAS officer and his father Appanna – the former IPS officer, Kiara Advani as Dr Deepika, Anjali as Parvathy, S. J. Suryah as Bobbili Mopidevi, Srikanth as Bobbili Sathyamurthy, Rajeev Kanakala as Mukundha. Others include P. Samuthirakani, Naveen Chandra, Sunil, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Chiatany Krishna, Harsha Chemudu, and Sudarshan, among the rest.
Directed by Shankar, the fans speculate that the film will cross ₹600 crore mark. The film has been released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film was announced in 2021, while the title had been announced in March 2023. The film was shot in many different countries including New Zealand, Japan, China, Malaysia, and Cambodia.
