Jolly LLB, starring Arshad Warsi and Amrita Rao, directed by Subhash Kapoor was one of the biggest sleeper hits of 2013. The director upped the stakes for the second installment, when he roped in Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi in 2017 to play Jolly. Many felt that Arshad was replaced in the sequel, but the story was about a different Jolly. And now in a major casting coup, Subhash Kapoor has managed to get both Akshay and Arshad together to be part of the third installment of the franchise.The film has already gone on floors and if reports are to be believed, after Huma Qureshi, it is now time for Amrita Rao to return to the franchise.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, Amrita Rao’s character will be part of the third installment and her character will start from where it was left off in the first part. In fact, the film recently completed a schedule in May at a remote place in Rajasthan, and as per reports, the Ishq Vishq actress was part of the same. The next schedule of the film is now slated for June, and all the four main characters will be part of the shooting, adds the report.
This film will mark a major return for the actress on the big screen as her last release was Thackeray where she played Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray’s wife Meena Tai back in 2019. Amrita is known for her films like Main Hoon Na, Vivah, Ishq Vishq and Masti.
