He also shared that while singing the song, he envisioned Govinda, assuming that David Dhawan, who had consistently worked with Govinda, would feature him. He was unaware that Salman Khan starred in the film. Despite everyone knowing Salman Khan was in the movie, Abhijeet was oblivious to it during the recording.

He added that he was unaware Salman Khan was in the film. He noted that the song’s focus was on dance and choreography rather than facial expressions or acting, which is why it wasn’t apparent that Salman was the star.
Discussing the hit song ‘Chunari Chunari,’ featuring Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen, Abhijeet mentioned that he never considered it a great song personally; it was just a piece where his name appeared. He clarified that although it wasn’t his song, it had been a significant hit for a long time.
The renowned playback singer remarked that while his songs have been hits, it doesn’t necessarily mean the films they were featured in were commercially successful. He emphasized that his songs have become classics over time.
