While Shriya takes pride in her work in the OTT space, she finds that she is often labeled as an “OTT actor.” She observes that the film industry tends to categorize performers too quickly, which restricts creative thinking about their potential. In her interviews, she has noticed that many introduce her as an OTT actor, but she believes these labels are not very significant in today’s context.
The actress believes that credibility and equity are essential for performers in the entertainment industry.
