In a recent interview, Dolly Ahluwalia reminisced about her time on the set of Omkara, where she worked alongside Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Vivek Oberoi.She fondly described Ajay and Vivek as the biggest pranksters of the cast.

In an interview with The Punjabi Link, Dolly Ahluwalia described Kareena Kapoor as “magical.” Reflecting on her experience working with Kareena, Dolly shared that visiting the actress’s home for a costume fitting revealed Kareena’s true warmth and kindness, dispelling any rumors she had heard. Dolly also mentioned that her experiences with other stars, such as Bipasha Basu, confirmed that they were far from the rumored tantrum-throwers, highlighting the genuine nature of everyone she worked with.

Dolly Ahluwalia recounted her time on the sets of Omkara, revealing that Vivek Oberoi was quite mischievous, though she emphasized he was merely “naughty” rather than mean. She described Ajay Devgn as the biggest prankster, sharing a story about a prank involving a ladoo laced with bhaang that caused some crew members to faint. While director Vishal Bhardwaj was slightly upset by the incident, he was familiar with Ajay and Vivek’s antics, so the situation remained lighthearted. Dolly noted that such playful moments were essential for a fun and productive work environment.

Omkara, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello set in rural India, saw Dolly Ahluwalia’s costume design play a crucial role in enhancing the film’s authentic atmosphere. Her work helped bring the characters and setting vividly to life, contributing significantly to the film’s overall impact.
